Communication Delays

Mercury is retrograde from 6th Feb till 28th Feb 2014. You will experience many delays in communication and transportation. Hopefully, this will make you more efficient, punctual and better organized in the long run.

However, this is an excellent time for research and going over existing work. Being in the sign of Scorpio, no wonder we are experiencing so many problems with Obamacare and the cynics are there in full force.

Expect everyone to be more forgetful and indecisive
Back up your important computer files and documents
Make extra keys for your house, office and cars and keep them in a safe place. Do it before Mercury is retrograde otherwise you may get the wrong key!
Register your iPhone with iCloud in case you lose it
Take the keys out of the car when you lock it
Make sure you give extra time between each meeting
Write the important numbers down instead of just memorizing them.
Pay your telephone and cell phone bills on time.
If you have to change your telephone number or get a new one, wait till Mercury retrograde finishes
Take photocopies of your passport, license and credit cards and keep them in a safe place at home. This is especially important if you are travelling
Wait till after this period to buy computers or any communication gadgets
Avoid signing documents under this transit unless the project has already started

2014 World Trends

Jupiter moves away from trining Saturn from Jan till April 2014, and the economy will be slower during this period. However, from May till June, Jupiter trines Saturn again and long-term Obama policies will finally stabilize the economy.

We had mentioned about Mercury Retrograde being the worst time to initiate any launch of a product or a major project. Obamacare became a fiasco and represented every one of the Mercury retrograde points we had listed including glitches in the computer and software systems, and incompetent people in charge.

We mentioned in our last newsletter that the 1980s age group will be in a very stressful period but also that mental issues will be brought to light as a result, and Obama has already allocated $100 million towards mental health.

End of April and end of June 2014 are very volatile for the hi-tech market and I would be very careful at that time.

Jupiter trining Neptune from Jan to Apr 2014 is an excellent time for all musicians to play their best melodies; volunteer groups to have more empathy and the public to focus on working for the benefit of everyone.

Mars in Libra till 25th July 2014 will affect all politicians born in the 1940s and 50s. Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Rouhani of Iran are both from this age group and we hope Bibi Netanyahu's obsession and paranoia doesn't make it a nightmare for others.

Feb and Mar 2014 are again very rough on President Obama and most of the stress is from the economy and foreign countries. Even around Christmas, there is air force or drone activity (exact on 24th Dec 2013).

The USA is in a really stressful period when it comes to finances. In fact, this is the time when people often go bankrupt unless they really buckle up and cut down their expenses.

With Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune in Water signs, some of the most inspired works are being written right now. However, you need to use your free choice as planets in Water signs do not impel you to do anything and just the realization of truth is not enough to make productive use of this very spiritual configuration.

Stressful Dates by Age Group

Very stressful period coming up for the 1940s, 50s, and 80s age groups between Dec 2013 and July 2014.

This is the time when you become obsessed with everything you do and many drug addicts, alcoholics as well as some of the most successful people are born with it. Although obsession may be your destined essential, you can choose art, music, saving people, astrology, research and even perfumes, as your obsession instead of drugs and alcohol.

You are very accident prone now and need to plan your time so you don't keep running out of time
You need more rest and sleep to recuperate
Your immune system is down so pace yourself
Avoid drugs and alcohol
Avoid fraudulent schemes and scandals
Wrong intuition now so don't jump the gun

Here is a summary of the dates and what to be careful of:

Those born between 1941-1949 have a very stressful period in Dec 2013, May and June 2014 (Bill Clinton, George Bush Jr., and Benjamin Netanyahu) scandals, politics and kidney related problems.

Those born between 1950 - 1955 have the same stressful transit from Jan to Apr 2014 and July 2014.

Those born between 1985 - 1990 have the obsessive transit in Dec 2013, May and June 2014 (shootings, mental health problems, car accidents, and out of wedlock pregnancy).

Those born between 1975 - 1991 have the same transit in Jan to Apr 2014, and July 2014. The signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn will be more assertive than normal and are advised to pace themselves.

Parents who have children of the age group 1985-1994 are advised to keep an eye on them and make them aware of the dangers listed above, substance abuse and not to encourage motorcycles during this period.

President Obama and his Peak Timing

When I predicted a win for President Obama while he was still a candidate, I had mentioned that he will be a two time president. What was the astrology principle I used to make that bold and accurate prediction?

Here is a 29-year cycle for Obama which shows the years of Saturn around his chart. It shows clearly when Saturn is at the peak in his chart (noon position here):

You will notice that Saturn was just rising in his chart when he was elected President of the United States. It also shows clearly that Saturn would be right on top of his chart in 2014. This is the peak of one's career and the reason why I predicted a two term presidency even before he was nominated as the Democratic candidate!

Breakthrouigh Research in Geniuses

I have been studying the charts of geniuses in many fields for a number of years. A person can be very intelligent and smart but I was mainly interested in the charts of those whose abilities in maths or memory recall were way beyond the normal range. Here are just a few points for you and I will be writing about this on my site in its own section sometime.

The interesting thing about my research is that most of the time I already know the answer and the charts just prove that my hypothesis was sound to begin with. Now it is not that I am only looking for answers just to justify my theory. It just proves that the principles of astrology are infallible and have divine origin.

For example, take a person who was born blind (they should really have a different name because even a blind person has visual cortex which is perfectly healthy and capable of "seeing" and the eye is only a lens nothing else!).

Astrologically, any blind person must have a Moon-Saturn aspect as Moon represents the vision and the eyes. When we actually find this to be true in hundreds of charts then obviously we know that our hypothesis was correct.

What I am trying to do is to help scientists differentiate between linked symptoms. If a person is autistic and is also a genius, are they related? I found that although some savants had autism, the genius aspect was totally independent of it.

Similarly, some geniuses were blind but the connection between the two is totally separate and not linked at all. However, there are exceptions where the area between the visual and auditory cortex may get linked if a person is blind. In this case, you get an unusual phenomenon like Derek Paravicini who is blind but also has an amazing gift where he has perfect pitch for every note on the piano. Leo planets account for his dramatic and lovable personality and offset the Moon-Saturn theme of depression in his chart.

However, in some cases, being left handed was important only in the sense of increasing the focus and harnessing their intelligence. In fact, anything which slows them down was helpful if they were really smart to begin with.

I also found a very strong connection between anything to do with spinal chord problems and some really genius individuals. The parasympathetic nervous system being involved was one of the best indicators of the type of genius I was looking for so epileptic seizure or any other neck related problems was significant.

Of course you can be genius without being erratic or eccentric but it seems the society recognizes a genius by their eccentricity before their talent! In other words, there are many geniuses out there who are perfectly balanced and not eccentric enough to be recognized as such.

The only exception seems to be in music where Mozart or Beethoven or Chopin are known to be geniuses and child prodigies and yet were quite "normal". I know many people might think they were eccentric but they were definitely more balanced than the ones who are socially isolated.

Bach for example had all the elements of being a genius but was also a family man with 20 children (3 of whom became composers). You will never find this in a genius who also happens to be autistic. This is the main difference between the genius-autism link that I mentioned above i.e. those who are autistic as well seem more isolated and without a family.
