Horoscope of Benjamin Netanyahu

Netanyahu has Mars in Leo and Saturn in Leo is conjuncting it from end of July 2006 till Aug. 2007. This is a dangerous aspect for him for heart and indicates lot of uncontrolled anger which may overtake his rational mind. It is ironic that Netanhyahu, Olmert and Ahmednijan of Iran all have Mercury in Libra and have the abiility to truly bring peace in this world if they want. Ahmednijan has expressed this thought a lot but Olmert has Saturn conjunct Moon in Cancer and will be responsible for a lot of displaced families and death and destruction, and can completely supress his feelings to the point of being cruel. It is th esense of fairness and justice which they all have but having their own interpretation of it.

Netanyahu and Israel's chart both have Mars in Leo being touched off adversely by transiting Saturn, which is a dangerous aspect and indicate that their policies may sep themselves up for major confrontations and military expeditions which will lower their status and cost many lives. Their timing is not good during this period and there is danger which is being courted till Aug. 2007. Hezbullah, Syria and Iran may be the reason for Netanyahu's temper but his timing is wrong and he needs to pace himself.

However, these are also key players will will play an important role in major peace around the world starting from Nov. 2008, which we predicted many years ago.

Benjamin Netanyahu has Mercury conjunct Neptune in Libra, the hallmark of a politician who is shrewd but cannot separate truth from fantasy and believes his own "visions". He is extremely bright but erratic (Mercury sq. Uranus conj. Neptune). Mercury conj. Neptune is a very deceptive aspect to have and makes people rationalize their actions. He is very charming (Mercury sextile Venus) and quite daring (Mars in Leo) but probably has two sides to him. The first being a hot tempered erratic person who has no patience for slow thinkers. The other side wants peace and has a good legal mind. Yet his statements have always been quite radical. He will make a complete turn around and try to satisfy every party (Mercury in Libra conjunct Neptune).

Jupiter squaring his natal Mercury gives him an edge in elections and throughout next year, he has Jupiter sextiling his Mercury and Venus indicating a lot of luck with his policies. If he wins, which is quite likely given the disappointments in Peres's chart, he will probably make some conciliatory statements to appease all sides. He will take some harsh measures against Hamas around Sep. to Oct. and then make major treaties in 1997 when Jupiter sextiles his Mercury (turning him into a preacher!). He has a good chart but the unpredictably of Mercury/Uranus sq. and unreliability of Mercury/Neptune conj. makes him a perfect candidate to be used by all sides. He will continue with the Peace Process but put in a lot of meaningless legal clauses to keep all sides happy.
