Most people don't understand the benefits of Mercury retrograde and only focus on the negative aspects of it which is forgetfulness and communication problems as well as gadgets not working properly etc. If you really want to learn something from it, then it is actually one of the best times for research and getting organized.
Mercury is retrograde from 12 Mar till 4 Apr 2012 in the sign of Aries then Pisces. These two signs represent the beginning and end of the Zodiac which is like the pioneer and the poet. Keep this in mind as this is exactly what this Mercury position will urge you to do i.e. new bold ideas when it is in Aries and spiritual , poetic but also unrealistic ones when it is in Pisces.
Everyone will be more impulsive and hasty till 24th Mar and this is an excellent time for short term projects which require new ways of thinking. This is a great time for new ideas but don’t implement them as you will probably jump the gun. Write down your ideas and go over them again after 4th April when Mercury is direct again. From March onwards, Mercury moves into Pisces and everyone will become evasive like politicians.
You will be more action oriented but just use this time to jot down all your thoughts e.g. thinking of names of articles as opposed to finishing off your writing. Great for one liners and names of website or making logos etc. However, you will certainly be tested and will probably run into all kinds of delays which will hopefully make you more efficient rather than just frustrated.
Here is what you can do to prepare yourself for this period but you have to do this before the Mercury retrograde sets in:
Expect everyone (including yourself!) to be more forgetful and indecisive
Back up all the important computer files and documents in a separate Backup Folder
Back up the above in a removable storage device (usb or external hard drive)
Make extra keys for your house, office and cars and keep them in a safe place.
Remember to take the keys out of the car when you lock it (a Niagara couple got locked out on their honeymoon with the car running during Mercury retrograde!).
Make sure you give extra time for each meeting and don't have them back to back.
Try not to buy computers or any communication gadgets during this time
Realize that everyone is likely to be more forgetful now (including yourself!).
Don't just memorize important numbers, write them down!
Pay your telephone and cell bills so you are not left without communication
Don't change your telephone numbers, wait till Mercury retrograde finishes
Take photocopies of your passport, license and credit cards and keep them in a safe place at home. This is especially important if you are travelling.
On our Home page, we have given an alert for Jan, Feb and Jun 2012 which applies to everyone born between 1937 and 1942 (lot of country singers), and also from 1976 to 1984).
Those of you who are born between 1930 ad 1936, and also 1970 to 1975 have the same aspect in March, April and May 2012. The 30s age group has to be careful of stress related illnesses and pneumonia, whereas the 70s are quite young and are more susceptible to spiritual and psychic fraud.
All of you are going through a very stressful (adverse Mars/Neptune) period and are prone to your immune system being depleted, nightmares, allergic reactions, fraud and scandals. Your body does not behave normally during a Mars-Neptune transit. Avoid drugs and alcohol and sublimate this obsessive period through art or music. Your body needs rest and healing now so take extra care of yourself and don't take unnecessary chances in life. Ex: Princess Diana, JFK Jr, Tiger Woods scandal.
The Canadian four times world freestyle ski champion Sarah Burke died from head injuries sustained in a super pipe training accident in Jan 2012. She was born on 3 Sep 1982 and was getting an exact Mars square Neptune. Unfortunately, it is the unnecessary chances people take during their most vulnerable time that causes these events. I am really hoping that we will be able to avoid such sad events by making everyone aware of it and use social media and our visual programs to warn them ahead of time.
One of my friends who is a very talented opera singer called me about his daughter who ended up with a severe migraine probably due to an allergic reaction to wine. She also had a bad reaction when the doctors gave her medicine and she was also getting the same transit. In fact, this is the reason I put up the Alert on our Home Page, which we intend to update every month so you can be aware of your timing and avoid any problems.
Last year, a Japanese girl slid over the Niagara falls to her death (she was only 19 years old) and was going through an exact Mars-Neptune aspect. This is also an aspect of drowning and one in which Natalie Woods also drowned. Of course, it is also carelessness and plain stupidity of people who take these chances and put their own life at risk.
What we find amazing is that she came from Japan where so many people lost their life in the tsunami, only to be drowned by going over the Niagara Falls.
There are always ways to offset an adverse theme and that is the whole purpose of astrology. A Mars-Neptune aspect makes one very obsessive but the form of obsession is your free choice. Everything you do during this transit can become a habit so just choose what habit you would like to have that is all.
As Jupiter Moves into Gemini from mid June 2012 till end June 2013, there will be major advances in the field of communication, novel ways of marketing and advertising and new improved ways of learning. This is an excellent time for major improvement in world literacy level. Unique ways to learn languages will be emphasized and the need for intellectual stimulation may lead to information overload and illnesses resulting from an active nervous system will increase.
This will be a great time for publishing on the internet and thousands of new eBooks from old manuscripts will be circulated. Start getting your eBook ready or convert your manuscripts into digital format for all the new mediums like iPad, Kindle etc.
We feel that the real estate will pick up from April till mid June 2012 as Jupiter goes through the last degrees of the sign of Taurus. However, the prices will drop after mid June so it is a better time to sell property rather than buying a house now. This especially applies to older homes and land. The lifestyle after mid June 2012 will be much faster paced and we believe it is more suitable for the condo market rather than houses. Latest telecommunication gadgets and the internet will become the norm for new houses. Virtual listings of houses and condos will become commonplace.

Obama is in a very difficult position but he is the only one whose Head Line is completely separate from the Life Line, which indicates breaking all rules and not falling in line with the establishment.
