We just found out that there were two candidates in Egypt, one from the old military regime and the other from the Muslim Brotherhood, who will face off mid June 2012 for the Presidency of Egypt. Here is our analysis of the two candidates based on their zodiac sign and the year but not the exact date for either of them.
Dr. Mohamed Morsi, Chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party and former member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Guidance Bureau, is also one of the most prominent political figures of the Brotherhood, the organization that led the struggle against the ousted repressive regime in its last decade.
We don't know his exact date of birth except that he was born in Aug 1951 so we could be about ten days off either side. This still gives us enough to be able to draw some conclusions from his chart. We had the same problem with the other candidate.
Sun in Leo with Mercury and Venus in Virgo makes him well spoken but also quite truthful (Virgo planets not the Sun in Leo!), well organized and a perfectionist. He must have a simple lifestyle and is very practical and down to earth. However, many may not like the fact that he is rather conservative and quite humble in his achievements. He has a strong critical mind and is not afraid to speak the truth even if he gets jailed for it. He is much more concerned for the welfare of the poor and needy than the wealthy (two planets in Virgo). It is difficult to live with religious values these days where everyone is into luxury and not caring for others. His chart reminds me of Hezbollah's Nasarullah (who also has Mercury in Virgo) and the ex-President of Pakistan General Musharraf. In fact, his chart is almost identical to Musharraf! These are not the best PR people and are not selfish enough to be at the top but much better as the organizers and reformers.
It is interesting that the Brotherhood candidate is much more moderate, flexible and adaptable. He is definitely not a radical and is in fact quite scholarly and the welfare of the masses will be his top priority.
However, he has Saturn squaring his Mars till Oct 2012 which indicates a lot of opposition from the army and those in authority. This is a dangerous time but Jupiter sextiling his Mars in June is a major windfall theme for him.
Ahmed Mohamed Shafik, on the other hand, has the chart of a dictator and not very compromising at all. He will want to rule with an iron fist and has a radical mind. If he was the Muslim Brotherhood candidate, there would definitely be war and crisis after crisis. Shafik is motivated by power and will be the US candidate of choice and will use the army to suppress dissent and protests. There is something very stern and almost sinister about his chart and it is even more dictatorial than Hosni Mubarak.
He must have been excellent as a fighter pilot and as Commander of the Egyptian Air Force but he is not a team player at all.

The next Mercury retrograde period is between 14th July and 7th Aug and it will be in the Sign of Leo. We can expect problems to do with Royalty or countries with monarchy. However, this will be a great time for speech writers and anyone with Mercury in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius. This will be a great time for publishing on the internet and thousands of new eBooks from old manuscripts will be circulated. Start getting your eBook ready or convert your manuscripts into digital format for all the new mediums like iPad, Kindle etc.
There will be major advances in the learning centers of the brain and new ways to communicate directly to the brain and enhance our communication. Unfortunately, the advertising and marketing people will be the first ones to exploit these innovations. Our suggestion would be to limit the "push technology" on your cell phones which track your movements and keep sending you ads when you are close to any shops.
There will be revolutionary advances in the field of education and interestingly, MIT and Harvard Universities have allocated 30 million dollars each and are making hundreds of classes available free to anyone who wants to take them. This is something we had actually predicted before 1995 and the advent of the internet that there will be mass education and hundreds of MITs and Oxford universities around the world when Pluto was moving in the sign of Sagittarius.
Cell phone technology will benefit the greatest during Jupiter's stay in Gemini as smart phones track your movements, push ads based on your past history, let your friends know where you are, let you do wireless banking and credit card transactions without any wallet, and you will probably see the beginnings of 3D and even holography being incorporated in the software.
Television Broadcasting will go to a completely new lever now and the Virtual World will become the norm. Hopefully, people will become "normal" again and have better family values when Jupiter moves in Cancer from 26th July 2013 to 15th July 2014. At that time, you will hear a lot about old recipes being revived and new food chains and probably your microwave and ovens fitted with internet recipes directly. You will see the gradual introduction towards the end of the Jupiter in Gemini (communication technology) and beginning of Jupiter in Cancer period (food).
Google driverless car will probably be introduced during Jupiter in Gemini taking advantage of their extensive mapping software and advances in signal processing and roadside cell devices. Street intersections will probably be fitted with new devices to warn these cars and make driving much sager.
Most newspapers, magazines and blogs as well as TV stations will focus on making the internet and smart phones their main source of information. News way of software distribution will lead to cheaper software and must faster ways of using the new technology.
We are happy that Sarkozy is gone as his chart has the same evil genius aspect as Dick Cheney and many politicians who have violated the divine truth and will never be able to undo the damage. Sarkozy has Saturn coming down in his chart which normally indicates a time when politicians are forced out and often in disgrace. The new President, Francois Hollande, on the other hand, has Saturn coming up in his chart which indicates the beginning of a long time of public response. He has Mercury in Leo like Obama but with less oratory skills. Although he is quite tenacious, he has worked hard to accomplish a lot and does have strong leadership ability.

We mentioned in March 2012 and also last year that Jupiter in Taurus often coincides with major mining disasters and earthquakes. Jupiter is the sign of philosophy so old cathedrals, churches and other places of worship are vulnerable at this time. Jupiter is in Taurus from 5th June 2011 till 11 Jun 2012. Other planets in Taurus or fixed signs will trigger the earthquakes when they adversely aspect Jupiter in Taurus. Today's earthquake in Bologna, Italy coincided with a major conjunction of planets including the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Jupiter in Taurus.
Today (20 May 2012) was the last conjunction of Moon and Jupiter in Taurus which happened to be a major Solar Eclipse as well. Jupiter is moving away from the sign of Taurus on June 11th and an adverse Moon aspect can still trigger earthquakes along the fault lines. However, we are not going to have four planets in Taurus now. The next few days are still critical still in Turkey and Greece.
