Those with many planets in Cardinal signs should learn not to always put their own interests before others as this can create selfish traits.

Cardinal signs are self-oriented and like to do things their own way. They resent authority and enjoy getting into the leadership roles even if they lack the necessary skills.
Cardinal emphasis makes people take the initiative and to be self-assertive. They like to get into their own business and as a rule have enough self-centredness in them (necessary for self-preservation) to look after their own interest . They have the ability to think for themselves which is good for their own endeavours but creates a lack of cooperation with others as they want to do everything their own way.
Those with many planets in Cardinal signs are self-starters but lack the persistence to finish what they have started (except Capricorn which is an Earth sign and has more stamina). This may also be due to the fact that they like to delegate work to others.

Aries
Being a Fire sign, their self-oriented attitude is most obvious. Even as children, they are never stuck for an answer, they are never stuck for an answer. Their leadership and need to be out in the front comes through action. These are the pioneers, the explorers, and leaders of the military type. “I want to do things my way”.
They are enthusiastic and energetic about any idea they get but lack the patience and perseverance. They are excellent at starting projects, which they usually do on impulse, but are usually better for short term challenges because they want instant results. They also the independent thinkers and the inventors who look at things from a totally new viewpoint. They are excellent for getting projects off the ground and for initial thrust where physical activity, short trips at the spur of the moment and sudden bursts of energy are required.
Cancer
Being a Water sign, they like to have their own way by using emotions and creating obligations in others through too much caring. Emotional dominance is used in the home environment although they can be very caring and understanding because of their strong protective instincts. Persistent nagging, harping and brooding are some of the ways they use emotions to dominate others!
They can make those who are close to them so emotionally dependent that is difficult for them to let go. Depending on which planets are in Cancer, they usually best in businesses that involve food, money and handicraft, as well as small stores like groceries, bakeries or home furnishings where they quickly grow on people because of their genuine concern and caring.
Libra
Being an Air sign, Librans use their intellect and reasoning ability to gain their objectives and they usually do it with charm, tact and diplomacy “I will win you to my side”! These are the skilled politicians who use their eloquent words and arguments to gently persuade others to their sides. Librans are good with administrative skills because of their natural diplomacy as well as their sense of fairness and justice. They have an excellent legal mind especially if Mercury is in Libra and are excellent as arbitrators.
However, their ability to see both sides of an argument can also make them continuously weigh the pros and cons of every situation. This is why they often drive people up the wall because of their indecisiveness. Words like perhaps, maybe, however, but then..., must have been invented by Librans or for them!
Capricorn
Being an Earth sign, Capricorn proves its leadership by dedication, hard work, organizing ability and long range planning. These are the self-made men and women who gain recognition from others by their achievements. These are the builders of our society who like to run their own businesses and industries. They seem to have an almost inexhaustible amount of stamina and are the quiet achievers who steadily climb the ladder to the top.
However, once they start attaining success, they become like slave-drivers who not only drive others but themselves quite relentlessly to achieve greater and greater heights. They usually keep their long-range plans to themselves and like to be in full control once they get involved with any project.
Capricorns are good for large scale projects, long range planning and long term achievement. Their luck is usually through the government and large corporations. There is no limit to their ambitions and they often become workaholics and let their assets grow to an extent that they can limit their personal freedom.
