World Events 20 June 2010
Saturn is a 29 year cycle and every seven years, it makes a hard aspect with your natal Sun. If you understand this inner cycle of yours, you will be able to use it as a stepping stone rather than a stumbling block.
Those of you born under the sign of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn have already experienced this cycle from Oct 2009 till 4 Apr 2010 and will again feel its full impact from 21st July 2010 till end of 2011 (the exact dates vary depending on if you are born early or later in the sign).
This important cycle is tested every seven years and makes you re-evaluate what you have done in the past. It lasts for approx two and half years and allows you to test your existing foundations and either take it to the next level or to start fresh and establish new goals for the next seven years.
This is not a reward period but a time to evaluate your past achievements and to set the foundation for future success. You will also feel some struggles but it is good for long term success. If used correctly, the delays you encounter now will make you stronger in terms of better planning and time management as well.
Buying a new home, looking for a career instead of just any "job", having a baby, getting married, opening a new business or expanding an existing one, are just some of the examples of events related to this transit. You become more mature and responsible but may also feel restricted. You may also run into opposition from elders and authority figures but allow them to guide you now rather than having conflicts with them.
You will become more aware of your duties and responsibilities now and get new authority as well.
The signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces were going through the same cycle from Sep 2007 till Oct 2009 and again briefly from Apr 2010 till 20th July 2010. Take this period as an opportunity to make sure that all the hard work necessary for your long-term success is done right including getting your website done, writing your books, adding eCommerce to your website etc etc. You only have till end of July 2010 for to lay the foundations for your future success!
It seems that the Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto T-Square we talked about before is already starting to have its effects. This is a long transit and one which will reflect a lot of earth related activities like earthquakes as well as mining disasters. Saturn opposing Uranus in Pisces for another few weeks is definitely related to the ocean related disasters that we wrote initially while writing about "major tsunamis triggered by underwater earthquakes" a few years ago.
Pluto represents a once in 245 year cycle and it stays in each sign for a long time. Whenever it transits a sign, it destroys all the areas represented by the that sign but only to redefine and transform it for the better. Capricorn is the sign of big business, government, manufacturing, as well as all the rocks and tectonic plates whose shifting causes the major earthquakes and collapse of buildings.We wrote this in Aug 2007 and it still applies for a few more years of course.
The worst effects will be felt from Feb to April 2011 but we are already witnessing many earthquakes, volcanoes, and we will continue to see these major geological shifts taking place deep inside the Earth and coming to the surface. Although no country is really safe but the ones close to the ocean are the most susceptible.
It was sad to see the 13 year old grand daughter of Nelson Mandela passing away in a useless car accident caused by her drunk driver while returning from the big celebration at the FIFA World Cup inauguration.
Saturn conjunct her Mars which is a major accident configuration while her grandfather, Nelson Mandela's chart had a Mars Neptune aspect (nightmare theme we mentioned last time and Neptune also represents grand children) which was just finishing off (he had it for six months). His grand daughter had both Saturn and Pluto adversely for the last three years and it was almost at an end when this accident claimed her life.
One of the things I am trying to prevent is accidents which are so easily predictable by the computer and this is one of them for sure. In the long run, however, we would like to extend the ability to monitor your own charts for all our registered visitors. To the question of free will and predestiny, my view is that you cannot increase your natural lifespan (probably supposed to be up to 125 years!) but you can decrease it using your free choice!
Those of you born between 1929 to 1943, and also between 1970 and 1984 have to be extra careful of any underhanded activities, allergic reactions and fraudulent deals from beg June till end of July 2010. You need to be very careful of acting on wrong hunches and being involved with fraudulent people or deals. Your psychic vulnerability can be exploited by charlatans. Direct your obsessive nature towards creative pursuits. Avoid addictions. Often betrayed.
This transit reduce the immune system of the body and you will probably hear much more of the scandals, out of wedlock pregnancies and other nightmares from this age group. They are also more prone to stress related illnesses including the flu and generally need to be careful of setting themselves up for nightmare scenarios. Be extra careful when signing any documents, investing in stocks on incorrect advice etc.
The same Mars-Neptune transit will affect those born with Neptune in late degrees of Virgo and early degrees of Libra throughout Aug 2010. They will be more susceptible to getting "caught in the act". This includes many country singers and politicians born in late 30's to early 40s including George Bush and North Korea's Kim Jong Il and Bill Clinton.
Those born in the mid 40s and the 50s will experience this stressful period from end of Aug till mid Sep 2010.
In our May issue, we wrote that "Last week of July 2010 shows a Mars-Saturn and Mars-Uranus aspect in the skies which usually points to increased conflict, aviation mishaps as well as stock market volatility. Afghanistan conflict will intensify during the last week of July till the first week of Aug 2010"
The US sent 11 warships through the Suez Canal and one came from Israel, all going into the Red Sea. All this while the Moon was in Scorpio points to their vindictive nature and a clear provocation for Iran. It will get progressively worse till the end of July when the explosive aspects mentioned above take affect.
However, as President Obama's nightmare period is over now, he will hopefully start realizing that Afghanistan is a failed strategy just like the Iraq war. Neither of these countries had anything to do with 911 and it only benefited outside interests who have congressmen like Lieberman and many others supporting them. Unfortunately, Obama is also born with a Mercury-Neptune square which makes it easy for him to justify any action as well.
In our previous world events, we wrote about "a danger from epidemics as well as ocean related mishaps as Mars opposes Neptune similar to Dec 2009". Mars opp Neptune has coincided with the major oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Ocean disasters, major scandals, epidemics and cover-ups and underhanded activities are all part of this cosmic. Unfortunately, as Neptune also represents the fish and whales etc, it does not bode well for the ocean life. At the mass level, it also points to food poisoning which makes a lot of sense now!
