Mercury Retrograde: Be careful of delays in all forms of communication and transportation from 7th to 29th Sep 2009. Mercury will be retrograde during this period and you can expect delays in all forms of communication. Other things to be careful of are: forgetfulness, keys getting lost, accidentally erasing your email addresses, leaving cheques in your shirt pocket and giving them to the cleaners! Telephone line being disconnected (pay your bills right away!), overwriting or erasing important files on your computer by mistake (it only takes seconds!), mailing to a wrong address and not following it up, running out of gas, missing appointments etc. This is an excellent time to go back over your existing work and finish any research rather than to start new projects. Be careful of buying gadgets now or they will give problems or require a lot of repairs. Sign your contracts before or after this period. You will have to be careful of starting any new activity as it is most likely to run into obstacles and delays especially if it involves communication, gadgets, computers, meetings and deadlines. Treaties and negotiations usually break down under this transit as well.
Mercury conjunct Saturn in Virgo makes this period especially important as this indicates delays anyways so the retrograde makes it even more important. However, this is major test of organizing and is excellent for becoming more efficient. Everyone will tend to be even more critical but this is the best time to edit, quality control and cleaning under the fridge! In other words, you will become real nitpicking in everything you do. Utilize this period to get rid of all the useless magazines, newspapers and clothing you may have collected over the years which are hampering your efficiency.
Uranus in Pisces in opposition to Mercury conjunct Saturn in Virgo while Mercury in retrograding between 7th and 20th Sep 2009 points to communication problems everywhere and recall of electronic devices but also problems with aviation (miscommunication). Saturn represents the old and time tested values but which may be outdated whereas Uranus represent the the innovative, unconventional and futuristic ideas. This is an transit where you can expect a real push and pull between two opposing forces. Older vs new generation, conservative vs liberal values, Republicans vs Democrats, but on the positive side this can also indicate practical inventive ideas. Using the Internet and modern technology to make older records more accessible and ready for future generations as well.
In fact, we can expect some fantastic ideas and practical methods in terms of new scanning devices, organizing software, health and skin care products being on the drawing board in Sep 2009.
Aug 2009 is a very stressful period for the 30’s generation (the blues and country singers) as well as the 70’s age group, who will be going through a nightmare period. They have to be very careful of their immune system being down and generally events around them making them paranoid and letting their defense down. You will probably hear a lot of scandals affecting these generations during this period.
Those of you who are born in and the 40’s and 50's as well as teenagers born in the 80's will go through the same period in Sep 2009. The older folks will have to be careful of fraud and scandals whereas the younger generation has to be careful of drinking and driving as well as dental or knee related problems.
Barak Obama still has Saturn conjunct his Mars which represents major opposition to his health reform initiative. However, this finishes by mid to end of Sep 2009 and we should see some positive initiatives after this. Pluto also squaring his Mars from the last two or three years had made it much more difficult but luckily it is mostly gone now and most of it was affecting him before the election. However, this was also pointing to the opposition by big pharmaceutical companies whose manufacturing will be affected. Obama's complete overhaul of the health care system is much more comprehensive then anyone realizes and will include not only an emphasis on preventive medicine but also having far more efficiency and less duplication of x-rays and medical records (Neptune in Aquarius), introduction of 3D models (Uranus in Pisces), elimination of duplicate dental x-rays which are taken so many times by every dentist, a central health card being able to access a central database of your health records and much more. Pluto points to a complete redefinition of the whole medical and health industry to transform it for the next several generations. Capricorn rules old age so seniors will most likely benefit but also may end up paying more for the extra cost they incur. Pension funds will also be revised along with the introduction of a possible health fund.
All of Sep 2009 will be focused on health care and wellness as well as how to make it ore efficient and organized. With Mercury conjunct Saturn in Virgo and retrograde from 7th to 20th Sep 2009, you can expect a lot of delays and senators being very critical, nagging and whining!.
Dick Cheney's age group has a nightmare theme throughout the end of Aug till mid Sep 2009 where more misuse of power will probably be uncovered and scandals to follow.
As we mentioned under Pluto in Capricorn in World Events menu, major reconstruction of old buildings and bridges are probably already on the table of most countries. Major Archaeological finds is also one of the forecasts we made as Capricorn rules buildings and stone, and Pluto here points to ancient structures being discovered around the world but probably mostly in the Middle East and Jerusalem (religious places as Pluto is moving away fro Sagittarius, the sign of religion).
