When Prince Charles was born, Pluto was in the sign of Leo. Pluto rules Scorpio and Leo is the sign of Royalty so it is almost destined that a Scorpio will be the King! Prince Charles has a very strong and tenacious side to him. Everyone thinks he is weak but they totally underestimate his Scorpio resolve and determination. When Shah of Iran (another Scorpio) came to the throne, he was barely 18 and the British thought he will be good figurehead. He ended up ruling Iran for 38 years as the sole Monarch even though Iran is much more difficult to govern! It is much easier for Scorpios to rule when they have absolute power. They are not team players and they demand utmost loyalty. Scorpios quietly keep working towards their ultimate goal which is usually to save the masses even though their means can be quite harsh sometimes when they meet opposition from radical factions.
Trudeau (who was born just one week before the Shah of Iran!) was never a team player but being a Libra, he was very charming while still being dictatorial!
The Shah of Iran, who was also a Scorpio, hardly got credit for the work he did even though he worked 15 to 18 hours a day and brought tremendous reforms in Iran although the religion was suppressed to some extent. Similarly, Prince Charles is involved with the biggest self help cause in Europe and his Trust Fund employs over 60,000 people, yet most people do not even know about it!
He has tremendous resolve and I feel that he will be one of the best monarchs in Britain. In his love life, he has similar aspects to Bill Clinton and is not a physical person. Venus in Libra needs to share and appreciate beauty rather than to possess it. Princess Diana was much more affectionate and physical. She tried to spite Charles with publicized love affairs and may have been carrying Dodi’s child (Mars/Neptune=loss of child out of wedlock), another nightmare for the royalty.
Prince Charles is also born with Mars/Uranus aspect and has to be careful of freak accidents involving aviation, guns and explosions. Mars is 5th also indicates danger through sports and the head area for children as well. Prince Williams is born with a Mars/Saturn conj. which indicates head injuries. This adverse aspect is in Libra (Paris), and was getting touched off by transiting Saturn which reflected danger of accidents to his mother who had the accident in Paris.
For Prince Charles, Saturn is at the Zenith now and he should come to power within the next two years. He has about 10 or 12 years before he has to keep a low profile. The Queen is also coming into an obscure phase and should step aside or events would force her to. Prince Philip and the Queen mother have to be careful of heart in 1998 and 1999 which may be the reason for sadness shown in Prince Charles and the Queen’s charts.

Saturn is at the very bottom of Prince Charles which accounts for his keeping a very low profile. His son Prince Williams on the other hand, has Saturn moving to to the top of his chart, indicated fame and recognition as well as new authority. We wouldn't be surprised if the Queen chooses to bypass Prince Charges and hands over the throne to Prince Williams. This may even be with the blessings of Prince Charles who may feel he is too tired and wants to keep a low profile at present. The public is not going to accept Camilla as the Queen at all and may even move to abolishing monarchy altogether is they try to force the issue. 2011 and 2012 are key years for the young Prince Williams as he gets married and immediately has Saturn moving to his Zenith.
Uranus just touched off his 7th house of marriage indicating sudden upheavals in the life of the marriage partner. This once in 84 years transit began with his unpredictable divorce and also points to sudden freedom in that area! This was just the beginning of a very erratic phase for his spouse (even if she was an ex) and Princess Diana was certainly planning a lot of erratic moves including moving to the U.S. which I am sure she would have as Jupiter was moving towards her 4th house (immigration to a foreign country) in about two years! Moon was in his 12th house in Leo just going into his first house which would have made him very emotional. Pluto was in his 5th house indicating life/death situations in the life of children. Mars in Scorpio was transiting his 4th house indicating strife at home and also the fact that Diana’s body lay at St. James Palace for a few days. Even Venus in his 4th house indicates his going to Paris to bring his love to his home!
Jupiter moving towards his 8th house for one year from Feb.’98 indicates inheritance and saving of millions because of Diana’s demise. He even has a good chance of any out of court settlements or tremendous increase in his trust funds.
Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, does not stand a chance in influencing the children and was just taking cheap shots at the Royal family out of frustration in his own personal life. The boys are very close to Prince Charles and he is not going to change much in his public display of emotions. Prince Charles has been very vocal about the architecture and is very active in many environmental causes already.
Saturn now opposing his Venus is indicating the loss of a loved one much more than at the time of his divorce. It is also the reason why his last fond letter to her never got to her. He will become completely inhibited in love till 1998. Summer of 2002 till summer of 2003 is an excellent time for him if he wants to marry. In conclusion, not only will the monarchy survive, Prince Charles will probably be one of the best Kings in the history of the British Empire.
